Postcards

All of Fiona's postcards are made using her original photography.  Each one is a little different, as she chooses not to produce duplicates.  The photographs are tea stained and distressed to give the appearance of a vintage image.  Each is embellished with needle felted wool to add a textural dimension.  It is then stitched to a card backing making it a fully functional postcard.  Although they can be sent by mail as a traditional postcard would, many people choose to frame them as small works of art.  The above selections are from a series entitled Postcards of Toronto, in which different architectural highlights of the city are featured on each card.
